[Hallicrafters] Saturday Net Issues

Hi All,

Something happened to the atmosphere about 12:52 PM EDT, 1652 UTC, today. 
Very slowly a hiss appeared and slowly grew in loudness. When it was done it 
sounded like a very loud wind storm. It totally wiped out my RX. I could not 
attenuate it, filter it out, suppress it via audio tricks etc.

I have not yet seen any posts about a solar event, but I would not be 
surprised to see one!

We will try again next Saturday on 40 meters.
