And you will wind up with a soft and easily scratched cabinet. OK for the 
shelf or a quick resale, just dont expect it to survive daily use.

Going to an auto paint store and getting an acrylic enamel matched and put 
in a rattle can is a bit more expensive but worth it in the long run.
