[Hallicrafters] Best Rx?

I don't have a copy of the book, so I can't answer that question.  However, the photo that appears in the Hallicrafters SX-111 advertisement on page 109 of the December 1959 issue of QST does have the calibrator switch and calibration knob for the dial.

However, the description says 10 tubes plus voltage regulator and rectifier which makes a total of 12 tubes.  It also says that the receiver is designed to be operated on voltages from 105 VAC to 125 VAC.  I wonder what the tube that was added to the original SX-111 did.  The 14th tube was for the product detector.

If it does in fact exist,  it should be easy to identify;
 
1) The Function Knob would not have a "CAL" position.

2) There would be no "Cal Reset" knob to the right of the main tuning knob.
