[Hallicrafters] Best Rx?

It's been years since I was more familiar with the SX-111 series  having 
operating one at the time but I seem to vaguely remember there  might have 
been three variants. Can anybody confirm this? Possibly two earlier  versions 
without the product detector and a later one with?
