  Just picked up a Hurricane and brought it up slow. Usual dirty controls, cleaned those and found that the tune position and cw are dead or dropped off as the radio warmed up. A tweak of T-4 CCW and the oscillator per the manual and it came back on line. The funny thing is the Osc was working when in USB but would come up slow. If anyone loses the tune and cw position, keep in mind that T-4 is the most likely culprit. Now that it works, I can concentrate on the case restoration and recap. Can anyone recommend replacements for this thing? Also any upgrades would be appreciated.

 One thing I noticed is two phone jacks (mic and headphone connections) under the case that are not in the manual. Is this standard on later models or did someone add them?  Thanks in advance.. Richy N2ZD
