[Hallicrafters] Silver plated #10 or #8 solid copper wire

I've used the plating materials available from Antique Electronic 
Supply. They work well if your prep is good. A small jar of silver goes 
for $26.95. They sell a special applicator brush but I've had good 
results with a Q-tip I fabricated. I've also used their brass, nickel 
and copper with good results. They used to sell a jar of gold but the 
price got out of control so they dropped it. They get their product from 
Texas Platers Supply (214) 330-7168. Can't find a website for them.
