[Hallicrafters] Book/Advice on restoring an S-38 series

I have a schematic and alignment info on the S-38. I would like to find a copy of the owner's manual or whatever papers came with the unit. Which one was the "crinkle/rough" finish? I have an S-38 and an S-38A/B chasis. Not sure which cabinet I have. I have a new set of tubes for the A and B. Any other info would be appreciated. 73 all
