When e-bay said I had to have a PayPal account and accept primarily paypal to do business with them, I stopped doing business with them. I am a Ham and a hobbyist not a commercial entity. The anonymity that ebay insists upon serves primarily to protect and hide the less than honest sellers. I now only buy from, and sell to Hams not estate raiders. If a seller doesn't have a call sign that I can look up or search the Ham references then we will have to talk directly. I know there is a lot of good equipment on ebay and there always will be until we as a community decide to keep Ham items in the Ham arena. My recommendation is try the Ham community first and go to ebay and craig only as a last resort.
