[Hallicrafters] A reminder on Manuals and Schematics

I noticed this morning a request for an HT-40 Schematic followed by a couple
of people who said they had sent the wanted item.

I assume that people do a bit of easy "work" themselves and check on the
Internet before asking. However apparently we are forgetting that step.

I see that there is a quite nice PDF of the HT-40 manual available for
download and printing at:

I'd like to remind people what a great resource is at:

.and requires no membership or other hassle to use.

DO check there for your manual and schematic needs AND if YOU HAVE A MANUAL
or SCHEMATIC that you know others would like consider sending it to BAMA.
In addition a Google search will quite frequently produce the desired item
somewhere else. There are still some foreign sites that have a few of the
now unavailable on edebris BAMA Heathkit manuals.

I found a site with the SX-28 manual available among all sorts of manuals
and instruction books for other items, not just radio related, but they
wouldn't let you download it. Just view it. I then checked edebris BAMA
and found the same item available to download and it had the same pencil
notation on the cover page.most likely taken from BAMA.

A little bit of very minor effort can pay big dividends before you have to
ask others.
