I got a chuckle out of the HT-20/SX-88 to same QSO you had with
what's-his-name in Georgia. It's always a hoot to work someone else
running the same gear, like stepping back in time. Jack's HT-20 is a
nice rig, other than a few cosmetic issues it looked ready to go, John
and I plugged it in here when he dropped it off and it came right to
life. If one was looking for a clean example to restore, this one fit
the bill. Or use as-is, as Jack is doing. Certainly not in the same
class as the one Bob brought back from the edge.
You and JP seem to be magnets for the unusual. I'm glad I live closer now. :D
