[Hallicrafters] SX-140 question

If you havent been into it since new then its time to do a complete recap 
for starters. It is full of Black Beauties. The one I rebuilt and then 
modified to be a pretty nice performer (not for the faint of heart) also had 
almost shorted electrolytics, the B+ was around 50V and I could smell the 
problem.
