[Hallicrafters] SX-42 Pedestal?

Yes, they made what was called a tilt base for the SX-42.  There is a  slot 
for it in the  bottom front panel lip of the SX-42 and SX-62  series.  
Original price was $7.50.  Last one I saw was selling for  over $300.00 and that 
was over a year ago.  There are not many around any  more.   I happen to be 
one of the lucky owners.  Should you ever  find one, be sure you get the 
knob and shaft with it or it is useless unless you  have a friend who is a 
machinist.
