[Hallicrafters] HT-44 Performance

I used my new HT-44 and SX-117 all through the late 1960's, 1970's and 1980's (before my job and other activities demanded more of my time, and I had to temporarily store them). 

I had no problems or issues with either the HT-44 or SX-117 at all. They performed flawlessly together, and in the 1980's I continued to receive many compliments on the Audio (generated via balanced "phasing" system). The combo. provided me with many hours of pleasureable operation. 

In all that time, I never had to perform any significant maintenance or part repair. 

I suspect that I may have to eventually perform some "cap" replacement / alignment, etc. by this time, but I can't wait to unpackage them and once again put them back on the "air" in the near future.
