[Hallicrafters] Duane Fischer W8DBF & Hallicrafters Nets Help Needed

If you have been wondering why you have not heard from W8DBF, or why he has been absent from the nets, it is due to serious health problems that caught up with him over the holidays. Duane has been suffering from severe kidney problems, and has also been found to have severe type 1 (insulin-dependent) diabetes. He was found unconscious in his house, and had to be hospitalized. Duane is not well enough to live on his own anymore, and will require daily kidney dialysis for the foreseeable future. Once Duane is stronger, he will need to move into a nursing home or assisted living facility. 

Please keep Duane and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
