[Hallicrafters] SX-28A dial stringing

Hi Mike,

   I think the GRR-2 uses a gear drive to interconnect the front knob  
and the dial and uses a string to interconnect the front knob to the  
tuning capacitor.  At least that is what I find in my two SX-28As.   
One of mine has the "A" on the front panel so I think it is a late  
production.  Maybe the military versions were different?  I do have  
the AN/GRR-2 manual and use it.
