Hi Sandy:
You have a couple of options. Have it silk screened or print a copy on photo
paper and use spray sticky to attach it to the gear. If you have it silk
screened, you will have to remove the gear and press the spur gear out of
the index, have it screened, and reinstall it knurling the removed gear.
The photo paper solution is truly the best solution. I have a scan of a NOS
gear that I can send if you wish. Simply print it on photo paper --- same
size and glue it to the gear --- looks great. Note: Make sure that it is
exactly where the original was! If you haven't removed the gear before and
have trouble --- call --- 847-571-8420. We have sent the front panel for
the SR-2000 and the index gear to him to create screen patterns so you won't
have to send a good copy. I've had both done and he does great work.
