Hi Jack,
It seems that the research people change about every eighteen months. When
this occurs, the Ham is generally replaced and a new call sign pops up. The
call you mentioned, as well as the call I mentioned earlier, are both no
longer active.
Surely "somebody" out there in radioland knows the current call signs and
frequencies being used by the scientific stations located at the North and
South Poles?
