The complete set are beginning to get collector attention along with prices
going up.
I have 2 complete sets and use a modified HA-6 that has better performance
than most SS stuff. The matching HA-2 is a backup for the almost as old
Microwave Modules xvtr which has given good service for 25 years. It is
ready to go with its own Halli PS.
The other set is a display only part of the HT-32B/SX-115 vintage SSB
station and were given to me by Jack Wilson, W1QXX, shortly before he died.
Jack was like a father to me as well as a good friend for several decades.
I also have a P&H 6-150 which a PO had very nicely modified to a 4CX-150A. I
added a HB SS receiving converter; its driven by a TS-830 and is what I use
to test all my 6M conversions. It will run up to 135W out and doesnt even
bother the PS. It can really get a converted LK-800C or dual 8877 Henry
commercial service amp delivering some real serious power (-; which are
popular amps for the 6M EME crowd.
Ive seen them a few times (cheap) at Nearfest so you better plan on taking a
drive in October if you dont find a set at a yard sale for $50. down there.
