For anyone interested, the article was in the April 1967 issue of QST.
*Simple "Tattoo" Control for the HT-37
*, by Fred Ruzick, WA8GQQ.  Now, can someone tell me what "tattoo" keying
referred to? Been a ham since 1961 and never heard that term before.
