Please join us today for the Hallicrafters 20 meter Net. The propagation has 
not been favorable for 20 meters as of late, especially at this hour, and 
many of you are frustrated trying to check in.  Know this: I am there, 
somewhere! So be patient and keep calling for "W8DBF" and soon, real soon, 
the propagation dieties will grant your CQ request. If not, feel free to 
call or write them at: Propagation Entities, Complaint Department, 
888-YO-De-WAVE!

The PreNet is at 12:30 PM EDT, or 1630 UTC. The Halli Net peoper is at 1:00 
PM EDT, or 1700 UTC. The frequency as ever is: 14.2925 MHZ USB +/- for key 
clicks, mike splatter and popping popcorn like sputtering that obliterates 
every third word. Just kick on a few filters, stuff a clean Kleenex in the 
ears to mute the snap, crackle, and pop sounds and carry on OM!

Hopefully our Florida relay, KG4KZG, Dale, will be on the air today to help 
with signals the old blind dude does not hear. So join us for more than a 
hour of facts, fibs, fairy tales from the last Ham Fest and who knows what 
else. You will learn something, guaranteed. As to "what", wait and find out!
