[Hallicrafters] HT-41 mods

Lynn,

HT-41.  Only thing I remember was somewhere, sometime ago there was an
article to replace the final tubes, 7094's, with something else.  7094s are
very hard to come by at a reasonable price.  It was a short lived product
from the RCA transmitting tube division.  However, I don't remember any
great amount of trouble they had with the amp.

Do you have an HT-41 or a 41B?  I THINK, they had different tubes.

It was a matching amp for HT-37 I think.

Does anyone out there know of any mods that were floating around for the
Hallicrafters HT-41 amp?
The one I have here and just now starting to power up and check out has an
extra switch with no markings
installed on  the front panel. I haven't pulled the bottom over off yet
(darn thing is so heavy) to see where
it is hooked up/wired in.
