[Hallicrafters] PM-23 w/ "h" emblem - Restoration

Am restoring a PM-23 - the grill work shows very light rust discoloration and there are light scratches on the cabinet.  One 1/4" hole in lower right of front which needs to be filled or covered w/ a plastic hole plug painted to match cabinet.    Any suggestions as to paint mfr or color to achieve a reasonable replica of original?
