Hi Ross and All:
A Thought:
Would it not be nice if someone would collect all of the great personal
restoration photos for the SX-28/SX-28A and put them on a single web site
for easy viewing?
The HHI web site (Halligan's Hallicrafters International) web site has a
great photo archive already, but the Web Master could put all such SX-28
photos into a special folder with a viewing link. Additionally, any
restoration articles not already in the HHI restoration area, could also be
added. Either right on the HHI web site or by the provision of a link to the
article located on a different web site. Full credit being given to all who
provided the photos, the author of the article, proper legal credits to
copyrighted material etc.
Although HHI is about Hallicrafters, we also realize and recognize that most
vintage radio equipment owners also own dogs from other counties! So as long
as it is vintage - vacuum tube or solid state driven, regardless of who made
it, we will provide space for instructional articles, photos not currently
in the photo archive, restoration tips, modification tips etc.
Please contact the HHI Web Master, W5JT, Jim Thayer, for discussions about
displaying your photos and or articles.

Even if it is not possible to put all the SX-28 personal restoration photos
and articles on the HHI web site, it should be possible to put many of them
there for quick and easy viewing and studying by interested parties, as well
as provide links to the others that are off site.
Just a thought -
Duane, W8DBF
