If you "really" desire to see the work of a true craftsman on restoration of 
a SX-28, then check out the articles and images provided by W8UT, Al Parker. 
Fantastic! One of the most talented Techs I have ever known -

I do not know Al's web site off the top of my head, but he is good in 
'qrz.com'
