[Hallicrafters] SX-28 Restoration Photos

Good to hear from you!

Well, I have to admit that the RF cage on this one was too far gone to
simply polish up to a sheen as you see in the photos.  I do credit myself
from past experience as a fairly good painter.  I've done many autos over
the years, but it's been some time...  The RF cage is actually done in a
metallic finish I had a local body shop prepare for me and then had that
canned by Sherwin Williams.  I do a lot of prep work on the metal of all the
surfaces I refinish, and this came out better than I expected.  Eventually I
may have a local metal shop make up two or three of these cages, but for now
this will have to do.
