The only source for an original would be from another SX-88. Unfortunately
nobody ever parts one out. They are either restored or sold to someone who
wants to restore one. It shouldn't be hard to make another one. Charlie
Talbot; K3ICH is currently reproducing the skirt and Mike Langston; KL7CD is
reproducing SX-101 tuning knobs. The SX-101 knob is not what you want of
course but it might be worthwhile to contact him to see if he can make a mold
from the one you have and make another one from that.

While we're discussing the SX-88, I'd like to ask one and all if anyone
knows where I can obtain ONE SX-88 tuning knob.

I've had my SX-88 since 1986. Paid $200.00 for it. It was and is in good
cosmetic condition, excepting missing one tuning knob.

Any help greatly appreciated!
