I got mine in Nashua with a HT32A about 2 years ago for $150 from
Craigslist. He tossed in a Drake SPR-4 for $20.

You must've missed the one that sold on ebay for $6K a few years back.
Even the earlier $4K price (set by a certain 6 Lander) was incredible
at the time, beating out the current SX-88 prices by a grand or more.
Today they seem to be back down into the $600-$1K realm for the most
part. I was fortunate to get mine in the late 90s from the original
owner for $550, can't remember if that included shipping. Nice radio
overall, and despite using only one sideband for AM it has the SX-88
beat in stability as well as sensitivity as I recall, and actually
uses a product detector for sideband.
