I almost bought a Howard 500...Now there's the round engines AND tail 
wheel. Uses a bit more gas though (bout 50-60 gallons per side). I 
almost did get a Stearman before the Deb, but Michigan weather and 
all...plus they are a bit drafty. Then common sense prevailed and I 
ended up with the Deb which turned 50 last month.  This was back in "the 
old days" when I was still working for a good wage AND the market was 
near the peak of the dot com bubble, not on a pension plus SS <:-))
