[Hallicrafters] SX-88

I have 2 of both! And the SX-16/17/25 isnt bad either.

One of the 62A's here is used with the R-42. The other is slightly modified
and the diode load drives the audio chassis of a RCA Orthonophonic console
with PP 6V6's, two 12" and 4" speakers plus a set of wide range tone and
loudness controls. It really rattles the LR windows.
The other R-42 is on a SX-42.

Its also pretty hard to beat the PP 6V6 audio from a NC-183, HRO-50 and even
the later ones with tighter IF's.

But the winner is still the old Supe Pros with a good pair of speakers. One
of these days I want to take the diode load out to the input of the Scott
800B audio chassis with 6L6's and a 15" coaxial speaker.
