yes Carl I remember the exchanges he had with you and others on this topic.As far the performance of the SX-88 is concerned ,personally, I don't think it surpasses any of the other good receivers from that period.What the SX-88 has mostly going for it is its good looks and rarity(and its deeper and HEAVIER chassis!)
