Just thought I would tell everyone what I found and used to re-string the
bandspread and band indicator mechanism after finding out I could not buy
locally, some of the material others suggest.  My wife stumbled on something
called "Beader's Choice" at a hobby store.  I guess it's used to string
beads, however it worked perfectly for me on the SX-28A.  15 feet to a
spool, 1.5mm, $1.49...  I'll see over time how it holds up.
