Lacquer is easier to get good results and looks  better than enamel but is 
practically unavailable now. Two problems often  encountered with aerosol 
sprays: the spray head on the cheaper products often  does not spray a fan 
pattern so smooth even application is difficult and aerosol  spray paint is 
soft and easily scuffed and scratched where the original was  baked hard. 
Powder paint on the other hand is baked hard at 400 degrees  F though it does 
require a somewhat skilled operator as an inexperienced  hand often gets orange 
peel or film thickness that is too thick.
