We have not experienced that problem
Although the temperature is high, our shop takes extra precautions with 
sensitive items and there has been no problem---yet.

Receiver has had all tubular paper caps and out-of-tolerance resistors
replaced. Realigned to exact crystal frequency. Dial calibrated. Tubes
all good. All tubes are metal tubes. Receiver, power supply and cable
available separately or all together for a savings. Available with or
without improvement kit MC-531 (adds 3 crystal controlled positions).
With 2 RF stages and 3 IF stages and push-pull audio output this is truly
"the top of the line" It is the most sensitive receiver I have worked
on.
Plays like new. Pictures available on request. Thank you.
