[Hallicrafters] Parts needed

Anyone have a junk 8R40 to dispose of? I need the power transformer.
Or
Did Halli in their rush to produce, and being short of parts, ever build one 
with selenium rectifiers? I have one that looks like a factory job. Cap 
mounted in place of 6X5, riveted in place, filter cap changed from can to 
paper in clamp, also properly riveted in place. Wrong (per pix) power 
transformer, feeding 1/2 wave doubler selenium rectifiers. No marks or 
shadows or scratches where you would expect them if changes had been made.
Biggest problem is - everything looks factory, rivets on cap clamps same as 
on tube sockets etc.
Selenium rectifier mounting holes look punched, with adjacent locking tab 
holes, no burrs or drill marks.
Plays great, but am going to recap. However this power supply thing worries 
me. Factory or field mod?
Anybody got a schematic for a "run 2" or something like that? I have the 
BAMA manual and a couple of others, but none match the radio.
