[Hallicrafters] SR-400A alignment question...!!

Hi, folks,

 

Seems like my ol' Cyclone needs a bit of realignment:

 

On most bands, the Preselector setting for max rx does not track exactly
with the setting for max tx. Especially on 80 metres, there's a difference
requiring perhaps a quarter-turn or less of the Preselector knob.

 

I have plenty of output when tuned up, no problem with that. Just that the
rx is less than max sensitive when tuned for max rf out.

 

I've got my original Manual. But should I have to go through the whole
alignment, or is there just a need to touch up part of the procedure?
