[Hallicrafters] Odd SX-28A cabinet & hardware wanted

My SX-28A has a very unusual cabinet.  It LOOKS like a factory quality paint job but it is grey-green, smooth with no crinkle.  Did Hallicrafters ever paint them that way or is this a very good repaint and just the wrong color?  I am looking for the AVC BFO knob and tuning lock as well as a set of front panel screws for this 28A.  Can anyone help me out here?  Thanks  AB8BW  Tom
