[Hallicrafters] Drift Into Halli Sunday 20 Meter Net And Call Hark As You Park

Please join us on Sunday February 22nd for the HHI (Halligan's Hallicrafters 
International) 20 meter Net. Since it is also the birthdate of our first 
President, George Washington, admission for the Net will be one .90% Silver 
dollar, either Morgan or Peace, thrown through the east window of the Ham 
Shack! Since the old blind dude is a coin collector, a Numismatic 
specialist, I can smell the differences between those Eisenhower 
Copper/Nickel clad fakes and the 40% Silver Copper/Nickel clad dollars! Just 
drop one on a hard surface and listen! Only a .90% Silver dollar has that 
high pitched ring to it when it impacts a solid surface! The others have a 
sort of metallic thud or thunk, woe to us, even those with a Silver content 
of 40%! So don't try to take me out with a counterfit slug or Canadian 
dollar coin that only contained .80% Silver! Besides one can feel the hair 
on the queen's legs! (LOL!)

The Pre-Net commences at 12:45 PM EST, or 1745 UTC. The HHI Net proper 
starts at 1:15 PM EST, or 1815 UTC.

The frequency is 14.293 MHZ usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and some 
lost sole afoot calling "CQ Contest" and rattling a tin cup with the letters 
ARRL emblazened on its time worn, and atmospherically tarnished sides, 
sociliting funds to fight some law or another that may, or may not, have 
anything to do with Amateur Radio. Ya gotta read that fine print guys!

Listen for us from 14.292 MHZ up through 14.293 MHZ usb. For somewhere among 
those cycles a plenty, we are present!
