[Hallicrafters] SX-71 switch replacement question.

I need to replace the intermittent BFO switch on my SX-71.  Even though 
I have removed the nut on the front of the front panel the switch still 
seems to be locked in place.  Do I have to remove all of the knobs and 
the front panel to remove a second nut which maybe holds the switch to 
the sub-panel?
