Great.  Not all members of the list belong to the ARRL.

Therefore, for a LARGE number this is useless.

Just as this thread became useless when it went into a ONE-ON-ONE, 
broadcast to ALL.  It went and HAS went over the top!

I have looked at the "purported" *technical* reports, and have seen 
nothing on the SX-88.  I was due too get one, but the owner became an 
SK.  I was NOT paying a ridiculous price for it, an HT-32B, and The 
appropriate amplifier with the PL-172 and a spare tube.  It was going to 
be a little bit under $2K.

The value of radios is in the eyes of the those that buy and sell 
radios.  Nothing is fixed!

NOBODY "makes" ANYONE pay some ridiculous price.
