[Hallicrafters] Tough Choice

For me, it would be the SX-28 and 62. The 42s I've had needed a lot of
work, no fault of theirs beyond lack of maintenance. But it did open
my eyes to what was involved. And I just like the looks of the 28
better. Of course, the dial on the 62 is a work of industrial art to
me, nothing like switching bands and seeing all those cities light up.

The SX-62B I got years ago still had all the original
Hallicrafters-labeled tubes in it except one, which I found rolling
around in the bottom of the cabinet of the SX-115 I got a while later.
Two entirely different parts of the country, too. Weird.
