Your comment reminds me of a short story that appeared in Playboy  
magazine a LONG time ago. The title was something like "The Tenna Rife  
Two-Cent Magenta".  It was about a stamp collector who finally  
convinced the only other owner of one of the extremely rare stamps to  
sell it to him.  Upon getting the only other known example of the  
stamp, he took a minute or two to admire it, then burned it to an  
ash.  He really wanted to own the only one.

So, How many DD-1's are known to exist?

A while ago I overhauled one of the SX-88's that are on the known-to- 
exist list.  It played mighty nice when I got through with it.  And I  
am willing to bet that no other gear train works as well!
