[Hallicrafters] HT-37 Weird Find In Cabinet

This isn't weird or anything, but it was interesting to me. In the back
of a 1938 Stromberg-Carlson console that I purchased at an auction I
found a tattered, crispy, faded, yellowed piece of paper, barely held on
to the cabinet by a piece of Scotch tape that had turned brown.

Almost unreadable was the faded-to-brown writing, apparently from a
fountain pen, in a masculine-looking cursive:

"Conelrad 1240 Kills".

Somebody must have took that stuff pretty seriously to haul the old girl
away from the wall and stick that note back there. She would have been
a dozen or more years old, I believe.

I know. A waste of bandwidth. You had to be there.

73,
Tom NØJMY. .
