[Hallicrafters] re SX-88 pricing

Having owned a SX-88 from 1966 to around 98 I can say it was the 2nd 
best Halli had at the time but thats not saying much. It is a very 
pretty radio. That someone paid me $2500 for it speaks volumes about the 
obsessiveness of collectors.

Id compare it to a NC-183D with better selectivity options but less 
stability as well as mechanical problems.

Give me a SX-73/R-274, GPR-90, HRO-500, 51J4 or R-390A any day of the 
week (I have the TMC, National, and both Collins) as better examples of 
general coverage receivers of the era.

The speaker you mentioned is the R-42 and I have 2 of them, one on a 
SX-62A. Nice sounding.
