[Hallicrafters] SX-117 and HT-32B current prices?

One opinion -- not cheap.

An HT-32B, in good condition, and especially a late version with the SX-115 style knobs can be quite pricey -- $600+. I look around occasionally for one to pair with my SX-115, see them occasionally, but finally decided I didn't really want one quite that badly :-) The original HT-32 or HT-32A can be had for quite a bit less, but a lot of the earlier ones can be pretty rough. SX-117's seem to do well, too -- maybe $300-350 The SX-117 is a nice receiver -- never quite understood why the SX-115 could bring upwards of a kilobuck, when the SX-117 is quite close to it and maybe a third the price.

Condition is everything, of course. And anything can be found for a better price if you look long enough, get a Dayton discount, or just get lucky :-
