[Hallicrafters] Halligan Audio/Video/Data Is Available

The Hallicrafters devotees, as well as other lovers of vintage rigs, have 
spoken. They want the material, so it is available immediately.

I had eight of the original HHRP 2 DVD and 6 CD sets here in reserve for 
when someone requests them. So I am pulling out three of the discs and the 
other five are ready to ship within 48 hours of the receipt of your request 
by mail. After those are gone, and only one is not spoken for right now, I 
guess I will have to burn some more! So be it!

The price is $35 plus shipping of $9. Of those who have already spoken for 
their set, all agreed to do the shipping via priority flat rate mail at 
$8.99 Hence, make the check out for $44.

The banks no longer consider a money order safe, since technology has made 
it possible for a child of four with a computer and a mouse to replicate 
checks, money orders, cashiers checks, bank drafts and anything else that 
amuses their creative little minds! Everything gets a two or three day hold 
any more.

Since about half of those who responded wanted the second DVD with the six 
short video clips, some by Hallicrafters and some by others, and the 
computer enhanced film version of the "Voice Of Victory", just add five 
dollars for a copy.

The special Fritz Franke CD, a former Hallicrafters Chief Engineer and 
worldwide super marketing wizard, is not included. Nor is the Chuck Dachis 
audio CD presentation of his slide show of the twenty most rare or unusual 
Hallicrafters products. If you want them, let me know. We will figure out 
some inexpensive way to get them included in your package. Not to worry, as 
the postage "will NOT" change if we add more discs!

Be advised! I did add some items "after" the Contents appeared on the HHRP 
web site! Consider them as a bonus for lovers of things that still go glow 
in the dark without needing Radium first!

This is not exclusively for Hallicrafters owners only, as the discs contain 
historical information about "radio", classified stuff we never knew before, 
how much of what we take for granted came to be - high frequency Coms + RIT 
+ crystal filters + B-52 RADAR countermeasures and much more! This is not 
about how Hallicrafters came to be, as Dr. Max De Henseler, HB9RS of 
Switzerland has already told that story beautifully in "The Hallicrafters 
Story" available from the QCWA. This is about getting to know Bill Halligan 
the man before he became a legend and his love of Ham Radio. So you Collins 
dudes, Heathkit healers, Drake devotees, Swan solder guys etc. can enjoy 
this also.
