Thanks to all of you who wrote to tell me about the special war issue of the 
Canadian nickel from 1943-1945 with Morse Code on it. The famous "V" nickel. 
I greatly appreciate your assistance.

For what it is worth: The USA also had a "V" nickel, AKA the Liberty Nickel. 
It was replaced by the Buffalo Nickel Type #1 and Type #2 in 1913. Although 
the letter "V" meant "five", as in Roman numerals, on our Liberty nickel, it 
meant "Victory" on the Canadian war issue.
