Are Nuvistors reliable these days? When they first came out they failed at a
terrible rate. The samples we sent to RCA were reported to have a vacuum
leak in the base seal which caused them to shut down the manufacturing line
for a while(we quit using them). This was back in the 50s
Just curious.
