I saw this yesterday after someone on another list pointed it out. After
consulting my dictionary (didn't find any words that matched), I copied the
strange characters over to one of the best translation sites on the web
(after trying 100 languages I gave up), Someone finally suggested it was
"Morse Code" so I found a reader on the web, fed it into the code reader and
got a translation. "Gotcha!"
In truth, I think there may be fewer than 5% of those that actually see and
notice the code.
Anyway, in an effort to say, "thank you" to whoever was clever enough to
come up with the idea to add some code to the Google announcement of
S.B.M.'s B-day, I ran into a brick wall. I challenge anyone reading this to
find a "contact us" on any Google web page. I even Googled "how do I
contact a live person at Google?". On the only hit that matched, another
identical search string was entered by a brand new Google advertiser who
couldn't find anyone to contact about an error that was made on his ad.
After clicking "NO" in a box asking if I found what I needed in my search
request, I told them this story. Except now it was also a complaint. We'll
see if I get a response.
Anyway, I gave up. If anyone has a URL that would accomplish my original
objective, please pass it on.
YMMV,
73,
Chris

Very nice!
I wonder what percentage of people seeing that will know what it is.
My guess: less than 5%.
