[Hallicrafters] S20R BFO dead

I am reworking an S20R that was dead on arrival, after having replaced all  
wax and electrolytic caps and resistors that were out of spec all is well 
with  the exception of the BFO. It refuses to work and I am out of ideas. I 
have  rechecked all associated wiring but am coming up empty handed. Just 
thought I  would throw it out there, maybe there is something on this set that 
is easily  missed?
