If it wanders in one direction as it warms up, I suggest you put larger 
wattage resistors in the balance circuit of the meter.  Small wattage 
resistors can do that and some radios have it and some are fairly immune. So 
go from 1/2 watt to one or two watts as a start.  If you want to check this 
out, use circuit cooler or an ice cube in a plastic baggie.
